AQA Wildlife Conservation - Wetlands, Grasslands and Peatlands

Princes Park Garden Centre, Liverpool Road, Irlam, Salford M44 6BR Arrive at 09:45 for a 10:00 am start. The Assessment & Qualification Alliance (AQA) is an independent educational charity that provides practical simple qualifications that are internationally recognised and taught in 30 countries. This session will provide you with the theoretical indoor based aspect of three AQA’s (Wetland Conservation, Grassland Conservation and Peatland Conservation) and we will advise you on how and where to complete your practical section. To gain the AQA qualification you will: 1) have an introductory/ training session (ie this session) 2) complete 20-30 hours of volunteering depending on which AQA you choose 3) learn new skills, being monitored by the project officer who will tick off the relevant outcomes. Once you have demonstrated the relevant knowledge and skills, you have completed the course and you then receive your certificate!
