Thursday, 21. February 2019 - 10:00 to 15:00
Join us for a day of practical conservation work at this marvellous moss. We will be clearing silver birch which is encroaching onto this rare habitat. Holcroft Moss is a fantastic example of a lowland raised bog as the site has never been extracted for it’s peat, unlike most other similar sites in the area and is well worth the visit! Refreshments, tools and gloves provided.
