Spring Foraging Walk

Sunday, 21. April 2019 - 10:00 to 12:00
Join us with the Friends of Woolston Park for a fun and engaging 2 hour FREE spring foraging walk, led by foraging expert David Winnard! We will be discovering and learning about plants and potentially fungi around the park. We will learn how to forage in a sustainable manner and learn what is safe to eat and what is not. It all depends on what we discover during our walk! Where possible there may be the chance to try some plants once cleaned. The foraging walk is open to anyone over 18 to attend and is for all foraging abilities. Please make sure that suitable footwear and clothing is worn and feel free to bring a small notebook to take notes of ID tips for instance. Feel free to bring your camera on the day, who knows what we will find! Refreshments will be provided by the Carbon Landscape and the Friends of Woolston Park and there is access to a WC on site. Please note closer to the day of the event, you will receive an email stating all the essential information you need to know for the day of the Spring Foraging Walk
